Diabetes Management in the Digital Age – Using all the Available Tools to Improve Glycemic Control – Canadian Council On Continuing Education In Pharmacy (CCCEP)

Upon completion of this program, participants will be able to:

1. Determine how these mobile and digital technologies may improve diabetes management through more accurate self-monitoring tracking of blood glucose (SMBG), insulin, and food
2. Review the role of mobile and digital technologies for diabetes management, specifically those with wireless technology, which can be paired with mobile and online apps
3. Manage objections and concerns about the use of technologies in diabetes management, and how to implement them
4. Make diabetes management recommendations, within defined scopes of practice, to their patients and other healthcare professionals (HCPs), improving communications and patient care
