Description du cours

Acromegaly is a rare chronic disorder caused by growth hormone hypersecretion. The etiology is a growth hormone secreting pituitary adenoma in the majority of affected individuals. Due to the increased risk of morbidity and mortality and impact on quality of life, early diagnosis of acromegaly is essential to optimize management. Awareness of clinical features, as well as the medical conditions known to be associated with acromegaly, are essential to support early diagnosis.

This program has received financial support from Pfizer and ICEBM in the form of an unrestricted educational grant.
