Treatment of depression: a multidisciplinary and multi-layered approach – Canadian Council On Continuing Education In Pharmacy (CCCEP)

Upon completion of this program, participants will be able to:

1. Recognize the signs and symptoms of major depressive disorder (MDD) and understand current treatment goals
2. Better counsel patients on the use and side effects of antidepressant and antipsychotic medication indicated for MDD
3. Monitor the health and progress of patients on drug therapy for MDD
4. Identify who are not in remission and make recommendations to help them seek remission
