Objectif(s) d'apprentissage

On completion of this program, participants will be better able to:

  1. Identify treatment options for managing common fungal skin infections in adults and children
  2. Review the leading causes of recurrent infections, treatment failure and patient non-adherence
  3. Recall current Australian guideline recommendations of first-line topical therapy where a rapid response is required for increased patient adherence
  4. Counsel patients on the importance of treatment adherence when using antifungals, particularly with regard to the dose, duration of use and number of daily applications
