After completing this learning program, participants will be better able to:

1. Describe the spectrum of concussion
2. Identify concussion risk factors, including risks of under-diagnosis, athletes who under-report, the pressure to continue to play, and age and gender differences
3. Apply the Return to Play and Return to School Guidelines, and apply these guidelines in order to refer patients with confirmed or suspected concussion
4. Recognise the potential long-term effects of concussion
5. Provide patient counselling tips on managing concussions
