This 30 minutes module aims to update GPs about cardiovascular (CV) risk, so that they can actively engage patients in a discussion on lowering this. The module will review the impact of cardiovascular disease (CVD) on patients in the United Kingdom and suggest evidence-based strategies to reduce CV risk in their patients. NICE guidelines on hypertension, lipids and cardiovascular disease prevention will be the major resources.
