Description du cours

Since its discovery 100 years ago, insulin has transformed the way clinicians manage diabetes. Advances in insulin therapy have resulted in many forms of insulin, enabling clinicians to select the option that aligns with their patients’ personal needs and lifestyles. Glucose monitoring technologies have also evolved to overcome previous limitations and to facilitate the optimization of diabetes therapy.

This program is designed to discuss the different types of insulin and glucose monitoring technologies and to review how innovation in insulin therapy has resulted in therapeutic benefits for patients. The goal is for clinicians to be able to recognize the benefits of recent advances in both insulin therapy and glucose monitoring technology to ensure effective diabetes management.

This program has received an educational grant or in-kind support from Novo Nordisk.
