Heart failure is a highly prevalent in patients with diabetes. Having these conditions is associated with significant morbidity and mortality. New data has shown that different therapies can significantly improve outcomes in patients with either heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF) or heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF). In this podcast, Drs. Sara Stafford and Jeff Winterstein review key studies on the role of antihyperglycemic agents in patients with heart failure and share their expert insight. This podcast will provide clinicians with the latest evidence and practical tips for screening and managing heart failure in patients with diabetes.
