After participating in this program, participants will be able to:

• Analyse the existing clinical trial data regarding the efficacy and tolerability of dapagliflozin
• Recall the range of common and rare side effects of dapagliflozin
• Describe the range of patients for whom dapagliflozin may be appropriate and discuss situations where it may not be appropriate
• Communicate effectively with GPs regarding the side effect profile, to encourage appropriate use of this drug, and maximise patient safety.
