Description du cours

The risk of COVID-19 infection varies significantly based on age and comorbidities. Although most of the efforts have focused on immunizing older individuals, there are many younger populations that are high risk of severe COVID-19 outcomes. Even those at low risk could develop long COVID and can still be impacted by even a mild infection through the loss of the ability to work and function for several days to weeks.

Three key groups with lower vaccine uptakes are children, young adults, and adults with chronic conditions. The reasons for lower uptake in each group are different and require the healthcare professional to implement different strategies to reduce vaccine hesitancy and to encourage immunization. In this webinar, experts will review different issues and strategies to address immunization in these patient populations.
