Hepatitis B and hepatitis D are important causes of chronic liver disease, yet many individuals remain undiagnosed until advanced disease develops. This program aims to support clinicians in implementing the recent updates to the CASL/AMMI Canada guidelines on the screening, vaccination, and treatment of hepatitis B (HBV) and hepatitis D (HDV). Using a patient case, this program will highlight what has changed and how to incorporate these changes into practice.
