Novo Nordisk and MDBriefCase are pleased to invite you to the upcoming event. Join us in-person on March 17th to learn about complex relationship between obesity, type 2 diabetes and NAFLD. The workshop will review current standard of care provided to these patients and how interprofessional collaboration can be used to reduce the disease and economic burden of these diseases. 

Upon completion of the workshop, you will be able to:

  1. Discuss the relationship between obesity, type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease (CVD) and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD)
  2. Describe how patients with these conditions will normally progress down a cascade leading to poor outcomes.
  3. Identify and address key barriers to patients with these common metabolic conditions.
  4. Determine the most appropriate interventions to consider that provide a holistic approach to addressing the underlying medical conditions of type 2 diabetes, obesity, NAFLD and/or CVD.
