Description
Advances in diabetes management have resulted in the development of sensor-based glucose monitoring technologies that help people with diabetes achieve optimal glycemic control. Familiarizing clinicians with sensor-based glucose monitoring technologies and data interpretation will help to increase knowledge and understanding, supporting clinicians in recommending it to patients, and optimizing its use in clinical practice.
This program reviews the use of the ambulatory glucose profile (AGP) and time in range (TIR) to facilitate interpretation and understanding of sensor-based glucose monitoring data to inform therapeutic and behavioural interventions for improved diabetes care.
