Optimal management of people with type 2 diabetes has increased in complexity over the last several years. The focus is not only on the management of hyperglycemia, but also on interventions that have been associated with a reduction in the development and progression of complications such as cardiovascular disease and chronic kidney disease. This program is focused on providing clinicians with a quick update on the optimal management of individuals with type 2 diabetes with chronic kidney disease or at high-risk of cardiovascular disease.
