This 1-hour eCME on the topic of testosterone deficiency syndrome (TDS) (also known as male hypogonadism, low testosterone, or “low T”) for the primary care audience will focus on improving counselling and adherence in the treatment of TDS. The majority of patients presenting to primary care for TDS symptoms have TDS as a result of age-related physiological changes. Thus, as the population ages, the prevalence of TDS is expected to increase. Meanwhile, testosterone therapy preparations continue to evolve, and the Endocrine Society 2018 guideline update provides new recommendations for clinical management.
