Description
Heartburn is a common condition among Canadians. It is associated with substantial discomfort and interferes with many aspects of life, including sleep. There are many non-prescription treatment options available, placing the community pharmacist in an ideal position to inform patients’ self-care decisions to ensure effective treatment options are selected and optimally used. This continuing education program is designed to provide pharmacists with the practical tools and knowledge to appropriately assess, manage, and monitor patients with frequent heartburn.
