On completion of this learning module, GPs will be better able to:

1. Recognise and identify specific pain syndromes in their patients
2. Assess pain symptoms associated with chronic migraine and cervical dystonia
3. Use diagnostic algorithms to assist with correct diagnoses of neuromuscular pain syndromes and optimise patient safety
4. Identify which patients require prompt referral to a specialist.
