Testosterone Deficiency: Are You Ready for the Next Wave? – Mainpro+

This 1-hour eCME on the topic of testosterone deficiency syndrome (TDS) (also known as male hypogonadism, low testosterone, or "low T") for the primary care audience will focus on improving counselling and adherence in the treatment of TDS. The majority of patients presenting to primary care for TDS symptoms have TDS as a result of age-related physiological changes. Thus, as the population ages, the prevalence of TDS is expected to increase. Meanwhile, testosterone therapy preparations continue to evolve, and the Endocrine Society 2018 guideline update provides new recommendations for clinical management. This program supports primary care providers in keeping their knowledge of TDS up to date and working together with patients to understand the range of possible therapies and ensure optimal care.
