This one-hour accredited eCME, developed in collaboration with the Canadian Thoracic Society, is directed to health practitioners who diagnose, treat, and manage adults and children with severe asthma. Learning objectives

After successful completion of the program, the participant will be able to:

  • Distinguish between severe asthma and uncontrolled but not severe asthma;
  • Describe how biomarkers may be used to identify responders to newer treatment options;
  • Discuss the evidence and safety of newer treatment options for individuals with severe asthma.
