Learning objectives
After completing this module, participants will have an enhanced understanding of:
- The latest clinical data on metastatic melanoma treatment, with a focus on novel approaches such as combination BRAF inhibition with MEK inhibition, including recent combination trial results from the COMBI–d, COMBI–v and COBRIM trials
- Specific adverse events (AEs) associated with these treatments and strategies to anticipate, identify, and manage these AEs.
- The range of other novel therapies for advanced melanoma that are available and in development
- New treatment algorithms and identification of appropriate metastatic melanoma patients as candidates for the latest therapies.
