La surveillance de la glycémie a progressé, passant de l’autosurveillance de la glycémie (ASG) à la surveillance du glucose interstitiel, ce qui inclut la SCG par captage intermittent (SCGint) et la SCG en temps réel (SCGtr). L’administration de l’insuline a également évolué, passant de l’utilisation de seringues en métal dans les années 1920 aux stylos injecteurs intelligents et aux pompes à insuline. Cette vidéo aidera les cliniciens à examiner les plus récents progrès réalisés dans la surveillance de la glycémie et l’administration de l’insuline, et souligne la valeur des nouvelles technologies ainsi que leur rôle dans l’évolution de la gestion du diabète.
