(Pharmacy) Herpes Zoster (HZ) Complications and Prevention Strategies
Herpes zoster (HZ) is a vaccine-preventable disease that can result in long-term and serious complications. This program will discuss potential complications associated with HZ, which people are at high risk of complications, and will also review the National Advisory Committee on Immunization (NACI) recommendations for vaccination against HZ. The overall goal of the program is to increase pharmacists’ confidence in protecting eligible adults against HZ.
