  • Practice the timely management of acne to minimise the risk of scarring and reduce the psychological impacts of acne.
  • Apply knowledge about the multifactorial pathogenesis of acne and its different presentations to select the most appropriate management options.
  • Apply knowledge about the mode of action and adverse effects of acne treatments to select the safest, most appropriate treatments.
  • Counsel patients to improve compliance for optimal long-term outcomes.
