Panelists describe opportunities provided by the various classes of diabetes medicines, and their place in the 2020 Australian Diabetes Society and RACGP type 2 diabetes management algorithm.

Learning objectives
Upon completion of this continuing education program participants will be better able to:
- Review disease management protocols listed in the 2020 edition of the Australian Diabetes Society and RACGP type 2 diabetes management algorithm
- Implement practice-based solutions to delivering patient-centred care, including telehealth approaches
- Maintain, optimise and individualise the care of people with T2D, including through sick days and during outbreaks of COVID-19
