Upon completion of this program, participants will be able to:
- Recognize key symptoms of ADHD in adults.
- Employ one or more rating scales to assess ADHD and monitor the effectiveness of pharmacotherapy.
- Identify first-line pharmacotherapy options for management of ADHD.
- Utilize guideline recommendations for the selection and monitoring of ADHD pharmacotherapy.
- In partnership with patients, set quantitative (rating scale-based) and qualitative goals of therapy for ADHD.
- Outline strategies for management of side effects related to ADHD pharmacotherapy.
- Describe recommended approaches for titration, optimization and changes in medications used in management of ADHD.
