Après avoir réussi ce programme, le participant sera en mesure de :

  • Décrire l'incidence, la prévalence et le risque de spasticité chez les patients ayant subi un accident vasculaire cérébral (AVC).
  • Repérer les patients qui devraient être traités contre la spasticité consécutive à un AVC, et expliquer pourquoi.
  • Discuter du rôle de la toxine botulinique de type A dans l'amélioration des résultats thérapeutiques, et notamment des données en situation réelle qui appuient cette amélioration.
  • Explorer le rôle des pharmaciens pour ce qui est d'aider les patients ayant subi un AVC à effectuer la transition de l'hospitalisation aux soins ambulatoires ou de longue durée.
