- Passer en revue les données probantes actuelles à l’appui du rôle des antihyperglycémiants dans la réduction des issues cardiovasculaires et rénales.
- Récapituler l’importance du poids corporel dans la prise en charge du diabète de type 2 et la sélection d’agents antihyperglycémiants.
- Expliquer les avantages et les inconvénients de l’insuline basale, des agonistes du récepteur du GLP-1 et des associations à dose fixe composées d’insuline et d’un agoniste du récepteur du GLP-1 à titre de premier traitement injectable.
- Élaborer une stratégie thérapeutique pour les patients qui n’atteignent pas les valeurs cibles de la glycémie avec une insuline basale associée ou non à des antihyperglycémiants différents de l’insuline.
