Ambulatory Glucose Profile (AGP): Practical Insights into Diabetes Management – Mainpro+

To properly manage diabetes, it is important for healthcare professionals and patients to collect, interpret and act on a large amount of information. Regular monitoring of all measures of glycemia (e.g. self-monitoring, glycated hemoglobin) provides the best information to assess glycemic control. For this monitoring information to be effectively utilized to improve patient outcomes, it must be presented in a manner to allow clinicians and patients to interpret and change behaviour based on the results. Ambulatory Glucose Profile (AGP) is a standardized method that allows for the visual presentation of a large amount of glycemic data in a format that is easy to interpret and understand. This program will review AGP and the use of this valuable tool to improve patient care in people with diabetes.
