Optimize Psychiatric Medication Management:
- Participants will implement evidence-based strategies for initiating, monitoring, and tapering psychiatric medications, including supporting patients with comorbid conditions and managing transitions between medications.
- Linked CanMEDS-FM Role: Scholar –Apply evidence-based approaches to medication management and improve outcomes in complex cases identified during the needs assessment.
Address Barriers to Mental Health Care:
- Participants will identify and learn approaches to mitigate barriers such as resource limitations and health system challenges in delivering mental health care to specific populations, leveraging strategies highlighted during the session.
